Pieza de arte proceso en comunidad, por Luis Garzón Masabó y Gabriela Posada del Real, proyecto Coyote, MDE11
En colaboración con el artista visual Fredy Serna, en el marco del encuentro OCTUBREDOCE 11, que se lleva a cabo en la colonia con el mismo nombre.
This project aims to rehabilitate part of the Colonia Altiplano, specifically the 5th section, where are the Pioneers of Tijuana Elementary Schools (morning), Queen Calafia (evening shift) and the Alfonsina Storni Preschool, which in total number 900 children. These are considered the places in greatest need of social development.
Regarding this, a group of civil organizations, in collaboration with educational institutions and volunteer citizens, have joined efforts to restore and enhance the environment, and improve the quality of life in these areas, thereby encouraging the adoption of a social conscience, giving importance to the strengthening of the social fabric with shared goals.

El pasado 3 de octubre se clausuró el festival entijuanarte 2010, una de las celebraciones del arte más importantes en el noroeste del país. Sin embargo, la clausura no significó el final, sino todo lo contrario. Aún en la ciudad hay vestigios de esta fiesta. Si caminas por la calle Revolución por la tarde podrás constatarlo en varias de las cortinas de seguridad de los locales que se encuentran ahí.

Un esfuerzo de la sociedad civil, que reúne la colaboración de alumnos de la Escuela de Artes de la UABC y tijuanenses responsables, unidos por el deseo de provocar una reacción proactiva en nuestra ciudad.
